Anatolian cuisine arrives in Mayfair: Rüya is open now.
Restaurateur Umut Özkanca and chef Colin Clague bring their Dubai restaurant to London, promising a fine dining take on Middle Eastern food with a nod to Özkanca’s native Turkey. Warm colours and a large central light fixture. There are several options for dining here – a private dining room, a chef’s table, a bar area and a more formal main dining room. Chef Patron Colin Clague’s menu features dishes and flavours from a variety of Anatolian regions. Dishes include 24-hour slow-cooked short rib, served with Turkish chili BBQ glaze and spiced Konya chickpea purée, and two-cheese pide (a pizza-esque topped flatbread) from the Black Sea with slow-cooked egg.
